Welcome to Skating the Way...
The purpose of Skating the Way is to:
1. Promote the sport of skateboarding in a positive way.
2. Encourage the development of public skateboard parks.
3. Offer advice from real skateboarders to cities and others who are considering developing skateboard parks on what features actual skateboarders would like to have included in the design and operation of these parks. Using the experience of real skateboarders, Skating the Way will offer advice so that skateboard park will challenge skaters of all ages and abilities.
4. Help raise funds for the development of skateboard parks.
5. Develop skateboarding activities and events that will allow skateboarding to be seen in a positive way and which will encourage parents and children to take up skateboarding.
